  • If you suffer from anxiety


Our suggestion is that you begin with the “short body scan” to build your practice, practice twice a day for at least 2 weeks

This should be followed by “mindfulness of breath” – practiced daily for the following two weeks

And finally mindfulness of breath, sensations and sound for 2 weeks

 

Once you have a practice in place, rating my anxiety and SOBER can be used frequently during the day to maintain awareness of our internal environment

 

 

  • If you are suffering from stress

 

Our suggestion is that you begin with the “short body scan” to build your practice, practice twice a day for at least 1 weeks

This should be followed by “mindfulness of breath” – practiced daily for the following 1 week

Mindfulness of breath, sensations and sound for 2 weeks

 

Once you have a practice in place, sensing rating stress  and SOBER can be used frequently during the day to maintain awareness of our internal environment

 

Slowing down your breath, Stress pause and set of four counting breath are excellent short practices that can help reduce stress and can be practiced daily. Please select one which best suits you, and use that in your standard practice

 

 

  • If you are suffering from depression

 

Our suggestion is that you begin with the “sitting body scan or the lying down body scan” to build your practice, practice twice a day for at least 2 weeks

 

This should be followed by “mindfulness of breath” – practiced daily for the following 2 week

Mindfulness of breath, sensations and sound for 2 weeks

 

Once you have a practice in place, SOBER can be used frequently during the day to maintain awareness of our internal environment and stop rumination
